Research funding at USC hits new record (WCBD-TV Charleston)

Officials at the University of South Carolina say the school has received a record $206 million for research for the 2008 fiscal year. School officials said Monday the 11.3 percent increase from last year is an indication that the university's researchers are earning recognition.
